Born into the melody of familial challenges, Abhishek Nongkhlaw’s mother’s unwavering dedication became the rhythm that fueled his journey.
Separated parents could not break the familial bond. Abhishek’s mother, a steadfast teacher, became the anchor for him and his sister. “My mom my rock,” he reminisces, a testament to her indomitable spirit that shaped his worldview. Despite life’s crescendos, she instilled a mantra: always strive for the best.
Abhishek’s symphony took an unexpected turn when he discovered his passion for football. His talent echoed across fields, propelling him to represent the nation at the under-19 level. Yet, the son of Shillong dreamt not of stadiums but of a stable career, inspired by his mother’s relentless dedication.
After completing his MBA degree, reality struck Abhishek hard. The job market’s dissonant notes rejected him due to a language barrier. Rejections piled up, and despair loomed on the horizon.
Then, a harmonious chord struck when his mother brought news of Anudip offering new-age employability courses it became the bridge between Abhishek’s dreams and reality. Without hesitation, both he and his sister enrolled at the Shillong Centre, immersing themselves in a two-month transformational journey.
From basic computer skills to workplace IT proficiency, cloud fundamentals to the art of effective communication in English, Abhishek soaked it all in. The crescendo of his efforts culminated in a job as an Loan Executive at the State Bank of India. However, he, like a skilled composer, orchestrated a switch to a higher octave, becoming a Relationship Manager at Bajaj Allianz.
Reflecting on his journey, Abhishek expresses gratitude for his mother’s unwavering support and the opportunities bestowed upon him by Anudip. “Life’s not always easy,” he shrugs, “but with hard work and a little help along the way, it can turn out pretty beautiful.” With that, he strides into the harmonious interplay of work and play, embracing the symphony of everyday joys.
