Dipak Basu has spent much of his life employing technology in humanitarian missions worldwide.
In 2006 Dipak set up Anudip Foundation, a nonprofit company dedicated to improving livelihoods of rural poor in developing countries through training in information technology and entrepreneurship.
In 2001 Dipak founded and served for three years as Executive Director of NetHope, a technology alliance of the world’s largest aid agencies, applying innovative IT solutions to humanitarian operations in the world’s poor, disaster-affected and war-torn regions. He also setup and led NetHope’s ICT for Healthcare working group for three years.
From 1995 to 2006, Dipak held senior management positions in Product Management and Professional Services at Cisco Systems where his last position was Director, Global Center of Expertise. Dipak is considered a pioneer in Voice over IP and Metro Ethernet technologies.
Prior to Cisco, Dipak served as a consultant to the Government of India. During this time he set up INDONET, India’s first public data network, and voice/data networks for India’s steel, energy, banking and hospitality sectors.
Earlier in his career, Dipak was software development manager at GTE (now Verizon) and lead research engineer at American Telecommunications and Tata Electric Companies.
Dipak holds a BTech from IIT Kharagpur and a MSEE from the University of Southern California. He has been a guest lecturer in Computer Science at IIT Delhi. He has won the Tech Laureate award for IT in Humanity for NetHope, and the President’s Award from Save the Children. Dipak is a Cisco Leadership Fellow, a Reuters Digital Vision Fellow, and a Fellow of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers.
Monisha holds a Master’s Degree in Nuclear Physics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and is an alumna of the Haas Business School, University of California, Berkeley. She has spent over two decades in the area of education management donning various hats of academics, quality, product, business development while being a true academician at heart.
Her first involvement with the development sector was with LabourNet, one of the leading social enterprises where she established the Consulting, Quality and CSR Solutions teams. Prior to LabourNet, she led The Princeton Review (South Asia region), a prominent player in the overseas education test preparation and advisory services space for 12 years, shaping a startup to emerge as a market leader. During her stint with The Princeton Review, she set up an employability skills vertical to cater to engineering graduates in the country. Earlier, she was also appointed by Educational Testing Services (a not-for-profit assessment outfit in the USA) to conduct Train the Trainer workshops across India for the TOEFL test.
Monisha is a member of the Advisory Council of the Center for Education Growth and Research (CEGR), and has co-authored a book on Employability Skills on behalf of CEGR. As CEO of Anudip, her efforts are aimed towards driving more value to donors, beneficiaries and employers through product innovation, alignment of donor goals, process improvement and team building.
Director, Finance Committee
A Chartered Accountant by profession, Abhijit has been with the House of Tata’s for 35 years, having joined the erstwhile Indian Tube Company, now a part of Tata Steel.
Prior to that he was with Lovelock & Lewes and Hindustan Copper Ltd. Earlier, he was General Manager (Finance) of Tata Korf, a Joint Venture between Tata Steel and Korf (Germany). He was VP (Finance) & CFO of Tata Steel Processing and Distribution Ltd., a subsidiary of Tata Steel, for 12 years before retiring in December, 2009.
Abhijit has the distinction of being the Chief Ethics Counselor of TSPDL and its Corporate Sustainability Head.
An ACMA, with over 26 years of frontline leadership experience with Fortune 500 companies like Reliance Industries Ltd., Reliance Communications Ltd., Qatar Fertilizer Company, Sumit has extensive exposure to Service and Manufacturing Industry in both B2B & B2C environment in India and Qatar.
Sumit has had extensive exposure to a wide spectrum of finance functions covering Accounts, Procurement, Contract Management, Business Analysis, Indirect Taxation, Commercial Operations, Change Management, Business Process Modelling, Management, and Audit. At Anudip, Sumit is the Chief Finacial Officer (CFO) and is responsible for managing the company’s finances, including financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, financial reporting, administration, and human resources.
Arup Das is a seasoned executive with a long career in financial, export and general management at Siemens in India and Germany. After retiring from Siemens in 1997, Arup co-founded and operated his own mechanical engineering manufacturing business.
Arup has acted as Joint Honorary Secretary, Treasurer and Vice President of the Welfare Society for the Blind, a Kolkata NGO, between 1991 and 2003 and introduced computer training for the blind. He was a Member and Club Secretary of the Rotary Club of Kolkata – Midcity between 1995 and 1999.Arup began his career with Kilburns Division of Macneill & Barry and joined Siemens India Ltd in 1965 as Commercial Executive in Kolkata.
He later moved to Siemens’ Western Regional office in Mumbai. He was transferred to Siemens’ Export Division as Commercial Manager, Foreign Trade Administration, to look after the company’s entire export business, during which time he traveled extensively in corporate work in the Indian subcontinent, Middle East and Russia, and operated Siemens’ offshore bank accounts in London, Bahrain and Singapore.
In the period 1979-85 Arup moved to Siemens’ Eastern Regional office as Chief Manager, Finance & Administration and also carried out assignments at Siemens Germany. During this period he took over as General Manager & CEO of Siemens Telematik Ltd. After the merger of STL with Siemens in 1995, he returned to Siemens as General Manager, Eastern Region to look after the entire business of the region.
Subhra Bandyopadhyay holds a Masters in Finance and Accounts from the University of Calcutta.
Before joining in 2006, Subhra worked at HDFC Bank in finalization of accounts and at Alvari Systems and training coordinator and content developer. At Anudip, Subhra is responsible for the DIYA initiative to rapidly grow the companies training capacity.
Director, Technology Advisor
Co-founder, former-CEO, and Strategic Advisor at Xentrix Studios, Jai brings a wealth of technology and marketing experience to Anudip.
Jai Natarajan built Bangalore-based Xentrix Studios, the fastest growing animation studio in Asia from day 1, building a world class team to grow operations and business to US$ 10 million in annual revenues. Its global client base spans North America, UK, Europe, and the Far East, across television, independent film, game art, and theme park ride films. Jai has been a mentor to early stage startups including NayiDisha (media rich education technology products), Framebench (cloud based visual design collaboration), Lifetape (leanback rich media using streamed metadata instead of canned video) and Switch, a iOT Lab.
Earlier, in Mumbai, Jai was Group EVP, Business Development and Marketing, at Maya Entertainment which was acquired by Aptech, and was a co-founder and CTO at Prana Studios.
Jai built his technology base as a Senior Software Engineer at Sony Electronics in Silicon Valley, where he worked under the Connected Living Room umbrella, and as Technical Director at Industrial Light and Magic in San Francisco, contributing to software and visual effects on blockbuster movies like The Perfect Storm and Star Wars. Jai holds a MS/BE from BITS Pilani and MS/Computer Science from UCLA.
Dr. Bikram Sengupta has joined Anudip Foundation as Chief Technology Officer from July 2018. Bikram is broadly interested in the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in addressing challenges and improving outcomes in education, skills development and employability. Before joining Anudip, Bikram was a Senior Technical Staff Member and Senior Manager at IBM Research, India, where he helped establish and drive IBM Research’s global programs for transforming education through AI, leading to innovative solutions in the areas of personalized learning, intelligent tutoring and career counselling. Bikram also led research on tools, methods and analytics to help IBM’s services business standardize, optimize and scale global delivery. In the past, Bikram has also worked in the areas of systems monitoring and management, and formal techniques for building reliable software systems.
Bikram has co-authored more than 50 scientific publications in international journals and conferences, and holds several US patents. He received MS and PhD degrees in Computer Science from the State University of New York, Stony Brook, and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India.
Sanjeev brings more than 30 years of experience as a Serial Entrepreneur, Business leader and CIO for large global corporations. He has been part of the Global Leadership team at Genpact and Sutherland, and was a founder, COO and director of STG International Ltd., a training and IT services organization which was successfully listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange in 1999. His initial years were spent in developing products and then managing new product development in leading technology product companies like Nortel, Amdahl and a Healthcare start-up in the Silicon Valley.
Sanjeev’s passion for innovation led growth and creating business value has played a key role in shaping corporate strategy, creating and scaling new lines of business, enabling Business Transformation and in identifying & creating successful new ventures at key technology inflexion points – Client Server to Internet age, Cloud and Now Digital Transformation enabled by Cloud, Cognitive, mobile and Social technologies.
Sanjeev has a MS in Industrial Engineering from University of Texas. He is passionate about Learning, Innovation and building and mentoring leaders. He has also been on the Advisory Board of Oracle, Gartner and Avaya. He is a Certified Coach and an advisor to start-ups. He is also an alumni of Indian Leaders for Social Sector (ILSS). He also invests and mentor start-ups. He loves hiking, travelling and playing golf.

Tanmay has over 12 years of experience working with national and international agencies.
Tanmay holds a Masters degree in Sociology from University of Burdwan. Before joining Anudip in 2012, Tanmay was Senior Program Manager at Suprava in collaboration with Groupe Developpement, a French NGO, in its child protection from trafficking program.
Director, Strategy Advisor
Sumantra Banerjee holds a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Khargapur and thereafter his Masters in Polymer Science and MBA in Marketing & Finance in the USA. He worked with Monsanto in USA for several years and then repatriated to India.
His first assignment in India as CEO was in 1988 and he has since worked as CEO/MD for 25 years in multiple industries: – ICIM, now Zensar, (in Hardware and Software), Saregama (Music), Spencers (Retail) and CESC (Power).
At the time of his retirement in 2013, he was simultaneously MD of CESC, a billion dollar power company for 21 years, CEO of Spencers for 7 years, and also as Sector Head, supervised all the other Power and Retail businesses of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group. He has been a member of the Group Management Board from 1990 till his retirement.
Prasun Kumar has more than eleven years of experience in the field of education and consulting sector undertaking responsibilities in the areas of Corporate Networking, Recruitment, Placements and Career Mentoring, Business Development, Channel Sales and Alliances, Branch Management and P&L, Training and Development, Project Leadership, and high value Institutional Sales.
In the past, he represented his organization to various international locations such as London, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Brussels and Dubai attending Global Outreach Programs and exploring international practices in education. Before Anudip, Prasun was heading Globsyn Group and working primarily in the area of strategic alignment of industry in all possible operational areas of the Group.
Utpal Ghosh, who served Anudip Foundation from its inception in 2007 until his retirement in 2017, is a well-known expert in planning, design, fabrication, erection and overall management of bridges.
Utpal has published several popular text books on these subjects. After a long career with Braithwaite, Burn and Jessop, he continues his own practice as consulting engineer.
Rajeswari has over 18 years of experience in corporate sales and business development across IT/ non IT sector, with in depth knowledge of forecasting and market analysis. She is proficient in client acquisition and retention as well as account management with emphasis on timely delivery of services. Prior to Anudip, Rajeswari has spearheaded business functions for organisations like, LabourNet, Uniphore, Ample Technologies, GI Group, Teamlease and Manpower.
She holds a Bachelor degree from Calcutta University in Arts and has a Higher Diploma in Software Engineering from Aptech. Rajeswari has certifications in Red Hat sales training, Adobe Creative Cloud for teams’ Sales Training and Adobe Creative Suite 6 for Sales Professional. She is a certified Apple Product Professional in the year 2012, 2013 and 2014.
Bishwanath has more than 12 years of experience in the domain of Customer Relation, Training and Instructional Designing. His expertise lies in using technology for organizational process improvement.
Before joining Anudip, he worked at Aircel Nodal Desk, supervised the voice escalations and TRAI escalations. Biswanath started his career with working in Tata Telecom Retention Team. In Anudip, he is managing the instructional design portal for Digitized content. Apart from this, he is also incorporating blended learning methodology in Anudip training practice to make the process more effective for the target group.
Udita holds a Masters in Business Management from Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management University.
Prior to joining Anudip in 2012, Udita worked several human resource consultancy firms where she was responsible for employer specific employee recruitment process. At Anudip, she has been managing talent acquisition, compensation and performance management, statutory compliance, and policy documentation of the company.

with special expertise in organizational Learning and Development, Talent Management & Development. He has experience in designing technology powered L & D strategy, business aligned interventions, employee & organizational competency mapping, content development in IT, ITES, Telecom & Healthcare. He has also worked closely in implementation of the Learning Management System (LMS).
He has completed MPhil (Master of Philosophy) in Philosophy from Jadavpur University with dual specialization in Cognitive Science and Philosophy of Human Mind. He wrote his MPhil dissertation on the improvement of human creativity from the perspective of Evolutionary Psychology & Cognitive Psychology.
Dipankar has over 11 years of experience in strategic human capital development Before Anudip he worked with C.K.Birla Hospitals as Manager – Learning and Development, where he played pivotal role in implementing LMS based learning solutions. Prior to the C. K. Birla Group he was associated with Wipro’s Talent Transformation Team. He worked with multiple verticals like Manufacturing and Hi-Tech, Global Media and Telecom, Healthcare etc.
Gopal has started his career in Anudip as a support IT faculty and is now responsible for IT infrastructure across India, where Anudip has its operations.

Dibyendu has been associated with Anudip since 2006.He holds a Masters in Social Work from Visva Bharati University and has over 10 years of experience in development sector. Prior to joining Anudip, Dibyendu worked with Social Welfare Institute in Women Empowerment, Sanitation and Solid Waste Management and Slum Development projects. In Anudip Dibyendu was previously responsible for rural entrepreneurship program for youth and women. He is currently in charge of program planning and implementation of our Specially Abled Vocational Education (SAVE) initiative..

With a Master’s degree in Social Work from Amity Institute of Social Sciences, Surabhi has been inclined towards working in the social sector.
Prior to Anudip, she was associated with SEED CSR, a CSR firm, in which she was independently handling CSR projects for promoting women empowerment and education in Haryana and Rajasthan. She has worked for Smile Foundation where she was a part of a national level livelihood programme and was responsible for handling operations of more than thirty skill development centres pan India.

Santanu has been associated with Anudip for over 4 years. Before joining Anudip Santanu worked in sales and marketing and banking sectors for 15 years.
He has worked closely for companies such as Godfrey Philips, Tata Tea, Johnson Diversey, ICICI Lombard and IndusInd bank. Santanu is a graduate in science from Calcutta University and has done Diploma in Computer Science from NIIT, IBM certificate course on web designing. He has also completed a diploma course in 3D modeling from West Bengal Electronic Industry Development Corporation. He is currently managing Anudip’s rural technology enabled livelihood training program – 3D4D.

Ayan Das holds a Bachelor degree in Finance and Accounts from the University of Calcutta. Before joining Anudip in 2013, Ayan worked for HSBC Bank in Loan and Settlement Department for a year and at KANKEI for 2 years.
At Anudip, Ayan has been responsible for Training and Operations in Delhi as State Head and currently taking care of North 24 Paraganas Operations in West Bengal.

Avishek holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography. He joined Anudip in 2012 and is responsible for training operations in Jharkhand.
Avishek’s expertise lies in enhancing skills, performance, productivity and team building. Prior to Anudip, he has five years of experience in the development sector.

Graduated from Calcutta University in Chemistry, Krishna holds a PGDM degree from Burdwan University with Mass communication and Journalism.
Krishna Sadhan a competent professional with nearly 14 years of experience in the field of administrative & Management duties, Marketing & Advertising responsibilities and Promotional & Branding strategies.
He has worked in the field of developing and managing the departmental budget, tracking expenditures, reconciling accounts and monitoring weekly payroll expenses. Being Territory head he handled and supervised all the employees and their work, motivating them in meeting company’s objectives and goals.
Prior to Anudip, he has worked in reputed organizations including RICE Pvt Ltd, Aakash Institution, Pathfinder, HDFC Standard Life Insurance.

Prior to joining Anudip, he was associated with Centum Work Skills India Ltd, a Bharti group in government funded programs in Odisha. Earlier he was associated with Jeton HR Services in various livelihood programs. He has worked for various skill development initiatives of both central, state and CSR funded projects and has more than 7 years of real-time project experience in this field.

Anupama has more than 9 years of experience in the education and skill development sector. Prior to joining Anudip, she has worked with HSBC, NIIT, IIHT and NSHM Udaan Skills Foundation. Anupama holds a Bachelor’s degree in commerce from Calcutta University.
At Anudip, she was initially responsible for placements of people with disabilities in the SAVE program for over 2 years. Currently she is responsible for the overall program management of Digital Academy centers, offering technology driven skills to the marginalized communities.

He has worked for national and international projects in organizations like ICICI Foundation and Tenneco Automotive India Pvt Ltd. Prior joining Anudip, Thomas was a Senior Manager for Edubridge India Pvt Ltd, one of the prominent skill development institutes.

Mounita holds Masters in Media Science and Diploma in Branding, Advertisement, Corporate Communication and Public Relations from Punjab Technical University and a bachelor in English Literature from Calcutta University.
She has more than 7 years of experience in the field of corporate communication, branding, advertisement and PR. Prior to Anudip, Mounita worked for healthcare skilling organizations like GNOSIS and Glocal Healthcare Services Pvt. Ltd. in Corporate Communications and Branding department. Mounita has received the best PR student of the year award from Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) in 2013. She has done her internships in Tata Steel, Disha Communications and Akshaya Patra in Brand Management and Communications. Mounita started her career with Bello Vista as a communication executive.
