Blog by Amit Halder, Deputy Manager- Corporate Relations

I have been associated with Anudip since November 2017 in the Corporate Relations Department. Presently I am assigned for placement of Anudip trained youth from difficult family backgrounds. It has been a wonderful experience to work on a livelihood project for the first time in my life. Going back to my prior experience, which was into hardcore profit making industries like Pharmaceuticals, Facility Management and Consultancy Services and others, I became a part of the corporate rat race. My entity in the corporate jungle meant dealing with targets. However, with my journey Anudip, I am once again getting back to my rejuvenated self. Today, I am happy.

I still recall the day, when I was really in a dilemma whether to take the opportunity at Anudip or not, but my strong desire since childhood to be a part of social service urged me to take the call.  True to the words of my favourite poet, Robert Frost, “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.”  Yes, Anudip did make the difference; it has given a meaning to explore the opportunity to work for the needy youth of our country wholeheartedly. I really feel nice to be part of philanthropic activity with the essence of corporate.

When I hear the whole world is getting digitized with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and fast emerging technologies and prominent corporate bodies participating the digital revolution then I feel proud to be a part of an organization which is dedicatedly creating livelihoods by providing digital literacy to those, who were so long denied this opportunity due to their tough economic conditions.

What else can a perfect example of real – time development other than this?

My blog is just to thank everyone at Anudip – the Management for the thoughtful initiatives, my seniors for the support, and my co-workers for being united to such a beautiful cause of social development. Finally thank you all for helping me get back my old self.
