Bipasha, a resilient 27-year-old, grew up surrounded by the stigmatizing labels of a ‘poor fatherless girl.’ As her brother entered the workforce, the narrative shifted to being the ‘sister of a security guard.’

The untimely loss of their father forced Bipasha’s family into dependency on her mother’s single income. “My mother took up a part time job after my father’s passing to support our family. Unfortunately, a major operation compelled her to leave her job,” Bipasha recounts. “For years, my maternal uncle supported us, but indefinite reliance on him wasn’t feasible.”

During her college years, Bipasha took on a small job, but the juggling act of a 10-hour workday and studies became overwhelming. “I realized that to prioritize my education, I had to leave my job. Around that time, my elder brother found employment as a security guard, and I started giving tuition to cover my own expenses.”

Upon graduation, Bipasha faced a new challenge—her limited English communication skills became a hurdle in job interviews. “Coming from a Bengali medium school, I never had the chance to improve my English. Little did I know that it would become a significant obstacle in my career,” she laments.

In a pivotal moment, Bipasha discovered Anudip through a friend. Eager to enhance her prospects, she enrolled in their training program, which included essential tech skills. With Anudip’s guidance, Bipasha not only mastered these skills but also aced her job interview. Recognizing her potential, TCS Passport Seva Kendra offered her a monthly package of INR 22,000 for the position of Citizen Service Executive.

“Securing a job offer from such a reputable company was a monumental achievement, and I owe it all to Anudip’s support. Their hands-on training proved to be the turning point in my life. With their guidance and support, I conquered my first-ever interview, making it possible for me to provide for my family,” she gratefully acknowledges.
