• Ok Google, turn on the kitchen lights?

Technology should be egalitarian. Some of our best and brightest would-be programmers may be stuck on the wrong side of a wall of unequal privilege.

The good news: Anudip works with vulnerable youth and women from low-opportunity background to dismantle those walls, a brick at a time, and give people the tools they need to scale over. Anudip provides the best digital skill & web designing courses. Here’s the story of two friends from Tamil Nadu: Magesh & Kumar Aravindh, our alumni skilled in Web Development and Technology. They enrolled for the technology training at Anudip in the mornings and attended regular college during noon. Post 5 months of their tech classes, they still continued being in touch with their faculty-turned-mentors. “Our mentor Radhakrishnan Sir, finds hope in us, and believes that we are much more than what are backgrounds are” – notes Magnesh.

Hailing from humble families, both are now on the verge of completing their final year college. Last week, the boys teamed up and voluntarily participated in their annual-talent-hunt in college. They wanted to device an IoT-based smart home automation system coding sketch to monitor and control attributes. “We came back to our centre for a proper guidance and opportunity to brush up our Java and HTML coding to develop what we wanted.” marks Arvindh.

Their innovation caught eyes of the college authorities and external visitors, urging them for a LIVE demo session of their device. They demonstrated how their “device carries sensors which reports to a central home automation hub and helps to control Google Apps, television, lights, fans and home devices. Here’s a link to our alumni demo of their- IoT smart-home device!

These final year undergraduates received a standing ovation from their collage. In the talent-dais, the young team “thanked their Faculty from ANUDIP to offer resource-limited students with the support and access to develop apps, code and prepare for hi-tech careers.”
