    Jamal Shaikh and Ruksana Jamal, old residents of Behram Baug, Jogeshwari West, Maharashtra has high hopes on their only daughter. “Abba has always been supportive to all my endeavors” sounds Maseera, 23. She chose the ANUDIP’s Advanced Program in Java Web Programing to prepare her career with hopes to get a job she wished. “Frowns began when I went out for a technology training” claims Maseera, asking her “if it such careers suit girls.”

    JAVA was new to her, yet became her focus. “My faculty has been constant in helping me learn these new computing languages.” Maseera often took up extra – classes at the ANUDIP Kandavali centre for lessons she needed attention. “Coming from a non-tech background, I never considered I could have my career in this domain.” Despite peers of her age, urging her for a career-change, “assuming a tech-training would not lead her to a career of choice”, Maseera continued her five-month course.

    On the assessments, she was one among her class-mates, to stand out in her grades. Next for Massera, “was an important challenge to sit for placement-interviews organized by ANUDIP”.Moving ahead, she qualified all three interviews at one of the largest and reputed EdTech companies called BYJU’s. “My offer-letter from BYJU’s is an answer to many questions” notes the young alumna, “assuring my peers from non-tech backgrounds that they too can have great opportunities in cloud careers”, setting her own example. Presently, Massera withdraws a salary of INR 21,000 and is working hard and striving to make her career strong in the organization.

    Massera’s inspiring transition to tech has been a testament of ANUDIP’s mission is to train the workforce from humble backgrounds in the careers of the future.
