In this conservative town of Hyderabad, Anusha knew she was expected “to live a life of no voice and no choice,” , constrained by India’s orthodox beliefs where fatherless daughters have no right to create their own identity, and credentials. Today the neighbors’ comments of pity had transformed into whispers of admiration. Anusha with her newfound confidence and career stability, dreams of pursuing her M.Com, aiming higher and reaching for the stars. Anusha’s journey was not just about escaping the label of “being helpless” but about honoring her father’s legacy by becoming a symbol of strength and resilience in her community.
