Impact Story
Bonda Anil Kumar, aged 21 grew up in a family which struggled to make both ends meet every day. He resides with his family in a locality named Venkatapuram in the heart of Gopalapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. His father works as a daily wage earner and it was a family of four he had to support; Anil kumar, his mother, and a sister who was of marriageable age. Anilkumar saw his family struggle to earn Rs. 8,000 per month. The problems worsened after Anil Kumar’s father suffered from an accident and was placed at prolonged bed rest.
Even though Anilkumar had dreams of acquiring a degree which would help him get a job, financial conditions back home acted as a hurdle. He began to search for jobs everywhere since now he had to contribute to the income of the family. Things were getting difficult for him until he heard about Anudip Foundation’s unique Skill development program empowering youth with impactful digital-age employment skills.
He got himself enrolled into the training sessions offered by Anudip Gopalapatnam centre in the month of November 2017.The certificate in IT fundamentals (CITF) course was a training programme of 2 months where he got to learn basics of IT, Soft skills and improved his English language skills helping him learn more about the world of information technology.Finaly, after successfully completing the training with flying colours in the month of January 2018, the dedicated placement team of Anudip got him placed at PSLV Solutions where he is well paid and respected.Today he is earning about Rs 7,000 per month which means a lot to his family. He is now able to bring home a decent salary but also smile and hope to his parents.
