Blog by Pulak Bhattacharjee, Senior Soft skill Faculty Kakdwip West Bengal-

In my five years journey with Anudip, there have been ample opportunities to learn and to grow. I have my own views established in going through this long journey to share with you. What I have felt may coincide with yours.

Before joining Anudip, the term “social welfare” attached to the name of our company made me think of the act of doing something for the society and that motivated me to be associated with a company that aims at working for the unprivileged section of people of our society. Because Anudip’s skilling centres are in remote rural areas, I have had opportunities to interact with the rural youth whose simplicity and generousness mesmerized me. Yet what I perceived more is fear and nervousness in their minds regarding getting jobs. Consequently my challenge was to make them get rid of what puzzles their minds in accepting jobs. To deal with the situation what I thought to be effective is constant motivation with examples set by others in achieving success and overcoming obstacles and that worked well.

Another aspect that touched my heart from the first month of my joining is the feeling of being attached to a family under the guidance of Anudip Founders, whom we dearly call – Dada and Didi. I have also been a witness to the transformational journey of Anudip Foundation, from unaccommodating rooms provided by NGOs to well-furnished and well-equipped own centres, and also with radical changes in training methodology. To me, it is to feel proud to be associated with an organization growing rapidly while keeping focus on a mission and vision for the larger good of the society. What has also benefited us is the chance to enhance our skill through efficacious training organized by the company through learning and development of its employees.

Last but not the least, looking at the smiling faces of our dear students after being placed at the successful completion of their training is a pleasure which can match no job promotions or monetary compensation. It is a joy almost inexpressible to be successful at the success of our students. I firmly believe that by doing no other job can I have such a satisfaction. Today, I feel inspired by my own work – and trust that this is best feeling ever.  Thank you Anudip for giving me an opportunity to do the noblest jobs fulfilling the object of our lives -“to serve man is to worship God.’’
