  • ANUDIP – TECH MAHINDRA PARTNERSHIP TO FOSTER GROWTH IN ODISHA

    Tech Mahindra Foundation (TMF), the corporate social responsibility arm of Tech Mahindra, the Indian multinational enabler of future digital enterprises, partners with Anudip to empower marginalized youth from the urban and peri-urban communities of Bhubaneshwar in the Odisha State with impactful digital employment skills and scalable livelihood opportunities.

    Anudip has received a grant from TMF to conduct its unique online technology-driven program DIYA (Digital Inclusion of Young Aspirants) which will equip 250 underserved youth from Odisha into the digital domain during the fiscal year 2017-18. Under this programme, Anudip will upskill high school (class XII) pass/graduates from low-income family groups through advanced curriculum covering Web Design, Social Media Marketing, MOS (Microsoft Operating System), Retail Management, Financial Accounting, Micro Finance, Hardware and Networking along with Digital and Financial Literacy and soft skills leading the students to gain employment in the knowledge economy.

    Prior to partnering with TMF, Anudip has been active in Odisha since 2013 and worked with Odisha State Employment Mission (OSEMS), Accenture and Mphasis, and successfully employed more than 2000 beneficiaries across multiple corporates.

    During the inauguration of the Anudip – Bomikhal Centre at Bhubaneswar held on March 16th 2017, Chief Guest, Sri Subroto Bagchi, Head of the Odisha Skill Development Authority noted “Anudip has been pioneers here in creating livelihoods for the past few years and with the launch of the Bhubaneswar Centre today, Odisha soon will be witnessing a talented pool of digitally empowered youth graduated from Anudip fostering employability.” Emphasizing on the TMF-Anudip agreement, Radha Basu, Co-founder of Anudip is positive that , “this collaboration will be able to support the economically less privileged and socially disadvantaged youth to earn digital livelihoods and scale sustainable growth in the talent-rich state of Odisha.”
