    On December 12th, 2017, Anudip Foundation celebrated its 10th anniversary together with its sister company iMerit’s 5th year anniversary at Swissotel, Kolkata with more than 600 participants, including employees, sponsors, clients, employers, and supporters from both organizations.

    The event commenced with an enchanting Vedic tribute to the Guru recited by Anudip Director, Abhijit Sen, lighting of the lamp by Anudip Alumna Itu Das, followed by an evocative audio visual that illustrated the journey of Anudip and iMerit in empowering vibrant livelihoods for marginalized youth of the country.

    “While Anudip has exceeded all expectations in training and empowering more than 75,000 underserved youth across 10 Indian States in 10 years.” said Radha Basu, iMerit CEO and Anudip Co-Founder, “iMerit, has created brought satisfying professional careers to young men and women from difficult backgrounds in today’s modern and fast-paced digital economy. These unique skilling models are transforming the way we look at human potential.” The highlight of the day was an uplifting  address by Salvatore Giambanco, Senior Partner of Omidyar Network and iMerit Director who thanked Anudip-iMerit “for building the future of humanity.’’

    A panel discussion featuring multi-disciplinary participants comprising of Sumantra Banerjee, retired Managing Director of Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation, Major Vandana Sharma,  former officer from the Indian Army, Santhosh Ramdoss, Senior Manager from Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, and Jai Natarajan, Vice President, Technology and Marketing, iMerit, debated the topic of “Skill Development in Times of Change” moderated by Dr. Pradeep Kakkar, Anudip Director.

    Anudip unveiled its new logo with a new tagline, “Life. Transformed.” The new logo is the first wave of Anudip’s re-branding campaign to position itself to “transform lives by empowering talent-rich youth with on-demand tech skills.”

    The celebration included employee-led musical and dance performances followed by the Pioneer Awards for 56 long standing employees of the companies.  Anudip was proud to recognize Saikat Kar, Manager – Accounts, Subhra Bandyopadhyay, VP – Training Operations, Dibyendu Das, Manager – SAVE, Rabindranath Naiya, Office Assistant – House Keeping, Monotosh  Bose, Manager – Accounts, Swapan Mandal, Office Assistant – House Keeping, Tanmoy Banerjee, Manager – Training Operations for their valuable contribution and dedication to their service. “It is a matter of great pride to see Anudip complete a decade; embrace a great value system, pursue high aspirations, and achieve more than what we ever thought was possible’’ noted  Ganesh Natesan, Anudip’s first Operations Manager, while receiving a Token of Appreciation along with Alakananda Rao, Anudip’s first Training Manager.

    The three-hour event closed with a Thanksgiving film which showcased the dedicated support of all employees of Anudip and iMerit whose collaborative efforts, trust and ethos have built the company’s legacy emphasized Anudip CEO, Dipak Basu.
