Today India is one of the youngest nation in the world with more than 62% of the population is working age group (15-59). However, most of the people in India belong to the below poverty level. They don’t have minimum food for daily living and education. Health and shelter are a far cry. Many civil society organizations, NGOs, Educational Trusts, CSR are taking new initiatives towards their development. Education can take the important role for overall development as a country’s development depends on its literate population and human minds are the fundamental resources.
But population is increasing day by day and resources are limited. So, there should be access to education, otherwise there will be unemployment which may turn into non-productive work and be the cause of other social evils. True to the words of Benjamin Franklin, “An investment in Knowledge pays the best interest”. Education is not only about achieving degree and ideas but also about assimilation of ideas which help people to not only be self-sufficient but also have a career path for self-development.
Mr. Dipak Basu, the Founder and Chairman of Anudip Foundation took this as a mantra and set up Anudip Foundation for Social Welfare in 2007. Anudip is empowering marginalised youth in the age group of 18-35 years from rural, semi urban and urban areas with livelihood opportunity through impactful digital skills and technology. All programs are technology driven and designed to offer industry requirements. Anudip is transforming the lives of youth with its 100+ smart and we’ll equipped skill and career development centres and 300+ national tie ups across major industry verticals.
Thousands of youth from marginalised background through its digital programs today do not just have a career but a bright future. Every transformed life is today a role model for the community and also the face of Anudip. They are now an inspiration for many others to be transformed. We hope Anudip will continue to develop the individual, society and continue to offer opportunities for the posterity.
