  • CITI FOUNDATION PARTNERS WITH ANUDIP TO SKILL 1000 YOUTH IN ANDHRA PRADESH

    Citi Foundation the philanthropic arm of Citigroup, works to promote economic progress and improve the lives of people in low-income communities around the world. Drawing on its widespread experience in creation of a better society and its allied initiatives, Citi has provided a grant to Anudip to upskill and place 1000 underserved youth from India’s state of Andhra Pradesh into the digital domain. The Citi-Anudip program will offer 12-week job-market aligned training sessions covering digital and financial literacy, and soft skills that are tailored to employer needs. During 2016-17 the program will skill 1000 students in Vishakhapatnam and Vijayawada, leading to the students’ employment and financial security.

    Dipak Basu, Founder and CEO of Anudip Foundation, while addressing the Citi–Anudip partnership remarked, “By applying our expertise and collaborative ethos, Citi Foundation and Anudip will be able to bring the benefits of information technology to the neediest sections of our society.”
