On the 9th of October, Saturday, INDIAWEST, one of the largest weeklies in USA, records a dynamic evening at the Indians for Collective Action 2016 Annual Banquet Honoring in the San Francisco Bay Area, where a houseful of intelligentsia gathered to acknowledge and celebrate some of the leading social entrepreneurs whose resonant vision has shaped marginalized regions of India.
At this unique felicitation ceremony, founders of Anudip Foundation, Ms. Radha R Basu and Mr. Dipak Basu were conferred for their determined service to hone needy Indian youth and women from the under-developed communities with IT and entrepreneurship skills to enhance livelihood opportunities. The Basus, both engineers, were recognized at this banquet for their benevolent endeavors by leveraging technology for the underserved society in India and USA through their three non-profit ventures – NetHope, Jhumki Basu Foundation and Anudip Foundation. The couple shared this platform with few other Indian philanthropic leaders for their remarkable contribution to the Indian society. The audience that evening was also treated with pertinent revolutionary stories from all the honorees about the change they are fostering.
